Gastric Sleeve Testimonial, Rocio |

My name is Roco Pedroche Roman, I am 26 years old and one year and seven months ago, I committed to Gastric Sleeve Surgery, and my life since then has changed for the better.
I was always a happy little fat girl without complications, but as time passed and the weight increased I began to fill with insecurities, obviously of a physical origin, but that fell upon my emotional aspects all the more severely.
Throughout multiple diets in which many times I could lower my weight about 30 lbs until around 10-12 pounds of my BMI ideal, only to return to double the over-weight I had in the first place, I decided I needed something more drastic.
I will not deny that I was afraid of the surgeries that opt for the gastric balloon, but alter receiving the valuable advice from Dr. Holguin, I decided that the most convenient surgical option for me was the Gastric Sleeve Surgery. So it was, and I am happy.
Perhaps the reason that motivated me to undergo this surgery are not the most transcendental given that I had no associated illnesses, although I know that sooner or later these classical obesity diseases will have a place in my life. That which motivated me most were the aesthetic reasons.
When one asks me, "Would you do it again", I respond immediately, "Yes, I definitely would".
