Here is a brief history of my arrival to a happy decision.

For years I have struggled with a weight problem, as far back as being a teen ager. Having lived in Colombia I often had to compare myself to the petite frames of my school mates. Later in college I did all the diets-lose weight and then gain it back. Then in my 30's, having had 2 children, combining that with poor eating habits, and fast foods, I continued to gain weight.

For years I constantly felt tired, unable to do certain activities, with sore knees and feeling guilty. I finally realized that I would have to make a decision in my life and I investigated Gastric Bypass Surgery.

The greatest decision of my life now allows me to play with my children, I feel motivated to live a full life. The surgery involves a huge commitment to eat healthy, follow the advice of your Dr., and be determined to be successful.
