Please keep in mind that an experienced bariatric surgeon must perform a complete evaluation before moving forward with bariatric surgical intervention. Nevertheless, you may be considered a potential candidate for bariatric surgery if you are included in any of the following categories:

1) You weigh more than 100 lbs (50Kg) over your ideal body weight (please refer to the chart on the right)

2) Your Body Mass Index is above 40

3) Your BMI is above 35 and you have associated morbid condition such as Arterial Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, joint damage, hyperlypidemia, etc.

4) It is impossible for you to maintain a healthy corporal weight even under strict medical or nutritional supervision
